Delete City Index Account | End Your City Index Journey

In some cases, you may want to close your City Index account. This can happen because one or more of the following points:

• You’re not able to trade anymore
• You find that the City Index broker is not suitable for you after some time trading.
• You don’t want to be charged with inactivity fees and have no intention to come back.

For these reasons and more, City Index provides an option to delete your account permanently.

Note:

City Index charges an inactivity fee after 12 months of inactivity according to the account base currency as the following table shows.

Steps to Delete Your Account

1. To delete your account properly you should firstly withdraw your money in the account.

The following table shows the withdrawal options from City Index Broker along with their fees.

You can withdraw your money with $0 fees on all options, but please note that the minimum withdrawal amount is $100 or all your account balance available.

It takes several business days to withdraw your money from the City Index broker.

1. The next step will be to inform the Client Management Team via email. You will need to answer two security questions in order for us to confirm your identity, and then we’ll be able to close your account.

also wipe all notifications if any.

Please note that the demo account is deleted automatically after a specific period of time, but you need to close your live account if you want to be not charged with any inactivity fees.
